Services & Prices

Every dog is different.

We customise our services to cater to your dogs needs taking into account their breed, coat, age and mannerisms.

These prices are a basic guide in the service Country Barn Dog Grooming provides. A confirmed price will be given once a consultation with the owner has been concluded and a service agreed upon. We welcome a picture of your dog’s size and coat condition before your appointment so it can give a clearer idea of the price.

Samantha’s booking schedule is nearly full, so currently she can only accept working dogs, terriers and their crossbreeds as new clients.

Every year from the 1st April, there is a small price increase due to rising costs. Prices below are effective from 1st April 2024 to the 31st March 2025:

Ultrasonic Teeth Cleaning

How does it work?

The Emmi-Pet toothbrush is an ultrasonic toothbrush, specifically made for your dog. It is completely silent, non vibrating and non invasive for a comfortable experience. The chip in the head of the toothbrush sends ultrasonic waves down the bristles to create nano-bubbles that remove plaque and tartar build up, as well as killing bacteria when used with the specialist toothpaste. The ultrasonic waves penetrate 12mm into the gum, so even has a healing action for any soreness/redness.

How many sessions will my dog need?

All dogs are different, so depending on how severe the build up of plaque or tartar is will depend on how many weeks of treatment they would require. Dogs will have a session once every few weeks until all the brown has gone. Once the teeth are white, maintenance treatment will be required every 4-6 months.

Prices and packages are as follows:

Initial consultation £35
This includes a 1:1 consultation for your dog. The initial consultation is to build up trust with your dog to introduce your dog to the toothbrush, toothpaste and allow them to inspect it.  We will have a good look at the teeth to be able to advise how many sessions will be required to remove all plaque.  A toothbrush head, dedicated to your dog only, will be issued as part of the initial consultation.

It is encouraged for the owner to stay with the dog for the initial consultation to put the dog at ease during the session.

Regular 15 minute maintenance appointment £20
It will benefit your dog to have subsequent ultrasonic teeth cleaning sessions every few weeks until the teeth are white.

Replacement toothbrush head £10
Each toothbrush head will last approximately 20-25 sessions.  Should your dog bite or damage their toothbrush head before it wears out, replacement heads can be purchased.

Any questions regarding teeth cleaning, please contact Samantha.

Terms & Conditions

We reserve the right to charge extra for dematting and clipping off matted dogs. Cancellation fees will apply if an appointment is missed or rearranged within 24 hours before the booking.

Most dogs are better groomed without the owner being present. Samantha will suggest an owner be present only if she feels it is beneficial for the dog, particularly with young puppies, elderly dogs, and ones that display extreme anxiety or have a medical condition.

Please see our full Terms & Conditions for more information.
